Accurate threat detection
DualCurtain Outdoor has two independent IR sensors on each side with a unique optical system. The alarm is raised if both sensors on one side detect movement. In combination with software algorithms, this prevents false alarms that can be triggered by pets and natural interference.
The temperature compensation mechanism allows Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor to effectively detect movement across the entire temperature range.

Flexible Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor Settings
DualCurtain Outdoor is configured both by the switches on the back panel and in the Ajax application. With the help of switches, the installation engineer adjusts the detection area, and in the application sets the sensitivity, delays, can turn off a separate side, adjust the response of sirens or automation scenario. Alarms in the notifications and event log are displayed separately for each side of the detector.
DualCurtain Outdoor has a unique technology that expands the detection area. When the Near Area Detection function is enabled, one of the IR sensors receives an additional narrow field directed at an angle of 40° down. This function is available for each side of the detector.

DualCurtain Outdoor is equipped with an anti-masking system that reports an overlap of the detector's view in 180 seconds.
The sensor is also equipped with a tamper button, which instantly notifies when the Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor breaks away from the surface. The system needs less than a minute to detect the loss of communication with the sensor.

Easy installation
The process of connecting and configuring Ajax DualCurtain Outdoor saves you as much time as possible. To add a sensor to the system, all you have to do is scan the QR code using the Ajax app, assign it a name, and a room. Configure your device in the app in real time, testing the detection and communication zones. If necessary, the sensor can be disabled or its system parameters can be changed remotely, without visiting the object.
